Always check in with others, despite what you believe they will think. They need to know where your head is at and you theirs, or you are setting the stage for misinterpretation and needless suffering. Tell them where your coming from and then ask them for their side, and then listen in close. Remember, nobody sees the world the same way you do, so build consensus by mindsharing along the way.
